Install iOS 9 Beta 1 on Your Apple Device

Apple has just announced iOS 9 though there aren't any significant changes brought over the upgraded version except for Siri voice integration and better understanding. Apart from this Apple has also said that the next version will bring better battery life, enhanced security features to better usability.
A New Caller ID that display the caller ID of any unknown caller. Suppose you get a call from any anonymous user the caller ID searches your inbox/mail to check whether the number is related to you or not. Notes App is being refined a lot with support to add web pages directly to notes and brings better annotations as well.  Transit directions are finally in the Apple Maps this should come in handy when trying to search for Station directions or any similar search. The maps now display the distance between two points. Apple has taken a hint from Flipboard and made their app called The News. The app embeds videos and photo gallery that already present in the website while showing them. This will surely be a useful feature if you are looking for one-stop information.  Apple's way of introducing the Multitasking feature that is already present in Android is called the Slipt screen do note this feature is limited to iPad devices. What it does is, it allows users to run two apps at the same time on same screen, nothing impressive but it's good Apple has included a well-established feature.

Availability is what that matters right? The iOS9 will be made available or rolled out to the public from this Fall and any Apple device running on iOS8 will get the update. Surprised? But if you are the one who known what he is doing then you are in luck, Apple released the Beta Version of iOS9 today. Meaning if you are interesting and can survive few bugs you can proceed with installing the Beta version of iOS 9 and the detailed instructions below will help/guide you.

How to Install iOS9 Beta 1:

Nothing new to say but do take a Backup fo the data required as the device will be formatted. Next up charge your device to at least 70-80% as the process will take quite some time.

Head over to iMZDL as this is our one stop source for all iOS files and download the files according to your device.

On a very surprising note, you don't need to register your device UDID this time around. The means you can directly flash the OS just by taking backup fo your data. Do note this process is skipped only for iOS9 but may require for older versions.

Once you have downloaded the OS files Extract them to any comfortable location on your PC. Then connect your Apple device to any iTunes installed PC.

Once your device is detected by iTunes click on Check For Updates. You must search for the Update file on your PC, not Online. Before proceeding to click on Check for Updates Press Hold Option button(Mac) or Shift key(windows). Doing so will force the iTunes to search for update locally.

Select the IPSW file that you just downloaded and click proceed. The update process should begin now, and it won't take longer before you see your device running iOS9.

Note: Don't panic if your device restarts in the meantime, that's the way it goes.

How To Recover Lost or Deleted Files on Your Android Device

How Painful does it feel when you accidentally delete your data/files saved in your Android phone? Knowing that one misclick, deleted the files is so much to take right? Don't stress too much, we are here with a cool solution to recover your deleted files or I must say lost files, it's like a simple ctrl+z key combination which we use in word documents. By the end of the trick, I am sure you will be happy learning a useful thing. Without any further late, let's dig into the details.

On your computer, deleting a file doesn't completely delete, it simply moves the file to recycle bin, with the file capacity still there, and can be recovered easily by highlighting the file and clicking the restore button. But that's not the case in android there is no recycle bin in the Android operating system, hence I hear people asking, is there any way to recover? And the answer is Yes, The files can be recovered with its full capacity. Deleting a file means, freeing up the space utilized, not deleting the content of the file, I know it's kind of confusing, but You don't need to understand the mechanism involved, to explain in simple deleting means freeing up the space, but the actual content is saved in the form of cache. Okay, there are few methods for recovering the lost data on Android.

Recover lost/deleted files on android

Method-1: File Recovery Apps
This is the Traditional Way of recovering the deleted files on android rather than the desktop recovery, (which i will discuss later). There are a hand full of Android apps, available in play Store which are used for recovering the lost/deleted data, but among them, I find Disk Digger app to be useful. Note that the app requires Root Permission to Access system level files. Go Ahead and Install the Application From Play Store. Once you have installed the application, Go ahead and Select which section of your device storage you want to search and recover, after selecting the storage location, the app asks you to choose the file type, I mean video file, pictures, or documents, etc. Choosing the required options makes the search faster and accurate, The longer the scan the more accurate the result, so be patient while the app functions.  Once the search is completed, the app shows the list of deleted/lost files in which the required files can be selected and recovered easily, no more stressing out to recover deleted files.

Method-2: Recuva System Software
Well Known PC utility software called Recuva, Developed by Piriform, Most of the software tools from the developer were very useful, now Recuva is one among them, which we will use to recover lost or deleted files in this method. Firstly install the Recuva software, Connect your Android phone to laptop/computer via USB cable, note that device must be connected either as mass storage or MTP, if in case the software didn't recognize the mobile, back up your data and format the SD card as Fat32 or NTFS, and there is a minor possibility of disk corrupt so to be on the safe side just backup all your content. Once everything's done, the software asks which type of files must be searched, so go ahead and select file type and drive which you want to recover, once the software is done with search just select the required files and restore files.

Recuva

Conclusion: So this is the easiest way to recover your lost or deleted files on your android device, if you have liked this article, hit like share it.

Know How To Enable Guest Mode on Android Phones

Privacy plays a prominent role in our lives and when it comes to smartphones, we don't want others accessing our private content, but sometimes we stand in situations where we need to hand over our android phone to someone else, if you are in the same situation, then there is great chance that you are worried about your privacy. luckily google got the same thought and found a better solution for this, "The Guest Mode" this feature is included in every smart phone that ships with android 5.0 lollipop. the guest mode simply switches to a guest profile which doesn't contain any of your data, installed apps, messages, contacts, etc. in simple, it completely looks like a fresh os with factory default settings, once you switch back to your main google account your data will be available, and data saved in guest mode will be deleted automatically. I must say its a life saver API program from google. if in case you are not using android 5.0 lollipop, then some you must check for pre-loaded guest mode, brands like Xiaomi, LG, Samsung, pre-load tweaked version of guest mode to their devices, if in case you are using an android phone which is manufactured by either of these brands then the best possible way to protect your content is to use third party apps and lock down your content. if you are using a lollipop then you must know how to enable/disable this feature, so let's get into details,

How To Enable Guest Mode on Android:
  1. Swipe down the notification bar,
  2. there you can see your image avatar--Tap that
  3. On tapping the avatar, you will see three options there
  4. "ADD USER, ADD GUEST"
  5. now if you want you can add your another account to device by choosing Add user
  6. click on Add guest to enable guest mode

Disabling the guest mode is as simple as enabling, all you have to do is, just swipe down the notification bar again and tap on avatar and choose your gmail account directly, once you have disabled the guest mode, all the data that is saved in guest mode will be deleted automatically. see how simple the process of protecting your data is. but if you are not using any lollipop device, as i mentioned choose any third-party app lock applications you want to protect.
