Alcatel OneTouch Smartwatch Launched in India For Rs.7,999

Alcatel has launched the OneTouch Smartwatch in India which was initially announced at CES 2015. The smartwatch sports 1.22-inches (240*240) TFT touchscreen display that comes with the Oleophobic coating. Powered by STM 429 chipset running on Proprietary OS. The smartwatch connects to your smartphone via a companion app which is compatible with Android and IOS, The app has functionality which will allow you to choose the type of notifications which you want to appear on your watch. 

The smartwatch will help you track/monitor activities like your sleep, walking time, steps walked, heart rate and calories burnt. The IP67 rating indicates that it is water and dust proof. The USB port attached will help you connect the watch to your PC and also charge the smartwatch. Touching the smartwatch display will activate multimedia remote control which will let you control music, take selfies or normal pictures and many other things. Priced at Rs.7,999 comes in Sporty red, white, black colors and will be available via Flipkart.

Alcatel has announced a series of smartphones at IFA 2015 in berlin and a smartwatch to add the list which is running a proprietary OS. One touch pop is top-end among the list. Let's dig into the specifications of the smartphone. The Alcatel OneTouch did not announce the pricing or availability for these devices yet.

Alcatel OneTouch Pop: The device sports 5-inches HD(1280*720) IPS display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 610Soc clocked at 1.4GHz Octa-Core Processor with 2GB of Ram and 16GB internal storage with an SD card slot for memory expansion. Runs on Android 5.0 lollipop.Talking about the camera sensors, the device features a 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash, f/2.0 Aperture. A 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Connectivity features 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Dual SIM. A 2,000mAh battery powers the device.

Powered by MediaTek MT6580 Soc clocked at 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor Mali MP2 400 GPU for a 3G variant, while the 4G version is powered by MediaTek MT6735p Soc clocked at 1GHz Quad-Core processor. There is 1GB of Ram and 8/16GB internal storage with an SD card slot for memory expansion. Runs on Android 5.0 out of the box. On the photography side, the smartphone features 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Connectivity features 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. A 2,000mAh battery onboard. 

Alcatel OneTouch Go Play: The smartphone sports 5-inches HD(1280*720) IPS display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410Soc clocked at 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor with 1GB of Ram and 8GB of internal storage. Runs on Android 5.0 as well.On the camera side, the smartphone packs 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
