Voice Calling Tablets vs Smartphones: Which One is Better?

Smartphones and tablets, both of these have their own strengths and weakness. while smartphones have reached the mass market with some massive hits, the voice calling tablets are poised to do the same, there was a time where people had a different approach towards them, but now the thought of including the voice calling changed everything. though the voice calling tablets and mobile phones offer the same functionality, users behaviour differ greatly from expectation to experience. with evolving features and ever growing functionality, and also considering the situational needs, there are many unique differences in users behaviour.

Here's why I think tablets with calling feature will replace smartphones!
Many of you might oppose the fact here, but let me give an explanation for the statement, the main and the primary reason is our dependence on mobile media consumption is increasing day by day, take movies-YouTube videos or any other multimedia, which is readily accessible on mobile devices, when the access is simple screen size, picture quality become more important to us. Why watch the content on small screens with low picture clarity when there is a scope of watching the same on Full HD screen with much better quality and portable at the same time. There are many with the same question in their head, and I believe this the reason is enough to drive people towards tablets than smartphones, although more components like bigger battery, loudspeakers are additional benefits, recently in the survey, 79% of People Opt for smartphone with bigger size, many app developers around the globe design apps especially for tablets and launch them exclusively, amazon first rolled out instant video app to iPad before bringing it to smaller size smartphones.

Voice calling tablets are here now, once upon a time tablets were just used for multimedia purpose, but now with the inclusion of voice calling feature to tablets, gave a required boost to replace smartphones, but you might be wondering, holding a tablet near to your ear while answer a call which is a heavy task to do, but you can always take advantage of speakerphone, wired headphones, and Bluetooth, these solutions were used on smartphones for many years now, and nothing funny in using them now also. Our love towards video calls continues to grow, and I've made a couple of video calls, the performance was impressive which makes me say again why low screen, why low picture clarity? Trust me the video calls were the best, trust me, I never had such an impressive experience on my laptop.

I prefer using a tablet over the smartphone, why? I read a lot, browse, check my emails, nearly everything I do on my laptop. Documents or book pages appear in their full form, enhancing the reading experience, the tablet interface impressed me big time. GPS navigations have never been so awesome! The bigger display makes the navigations easy and so simple, and clear, unlike the smartphone where I had to zoom in a lot. Another aspect which impressed me is the gaming experience I used to play games on a compact size smartphones and wonder how cool the graphics are, Now That I've played on a tablet, I'll just say, gaming on tablets is 5 times better than on smartphones, the display is big, the graphics look realistic, to simplify a tablet sets a proper environment for amazing gaming.  Yeah, I agree tablets also have some drawbacks like the camera and video shooting. Some of the tablets aren't capable enough as smartphones, to capture/record decent images and videos (Note that I said only some, But not all). There are few tablets which can capture great images and record cool videos, the reason why I mentioned it as a drawback is, not everyone can afford high-end tablets which come with great cameras, some choose a decent budget tablets which lack great camera.

There might be a lot of opposition out there for the statement, saying who will carry a tablet around all the time when we have a smartphone, which fits the pocket, well my advice for them is just give it a try you might end up changing your opinion. Here are some of the international shipment report which suggest people are now showing interest towards tablets, I won't say rather than smartphones. According to IDC The Tablet Shipping Was up by 4.4% in 2014 when compared with 2013, the report also says that 234.5 million units will be shipped by the end of year 2015.

Concluding, voice calling tablets are giving very tough competition to smartphones, a tablet can do all the things a smartphone and a laptop can so, this is how I justify my statement by comparing voice calling tablets with smartphones
