Meizu has announced MX5 smartphone at an event in China. The latest flagship smartphone phone from Meizu features full metal body construction , The device sports 5.5-inches FHD SUPER AMOLED display (1920*1080p) with 100% increase in NTSC colour gamut. Powered by MediaTek Helio X10 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz Octa-Core processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16/32/64GB internal memory. On the camera side, there is 20.7-megapixel autofocus primary camera Dual Tone LED flash and the camera can record videos in 4K resolution, On the front there is 5-megapixel fixed focus selfie shooter. The device runs on Android 5.0 lollipop with Flyme OS 4.5 on top. The device has mTouch 2.0 fingerprint recognition technology for payments using mPay & Security. 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS are connectivity features. priced at 1799 CYN (Rs.18,468 approx) for 16GB, 1999 CYN (Rs. 20,519 approx) for 32GB and 2399 CYN (Rs. 24,630 / US$387 approx) for 64GB variant. The device will go on sale from 5th July in China.
