Lava Pixel V1 Android One Smartphone Unveiled Officially; Priced at Rs.11,350

Lava India has officially unveiled the Pixel V1 Android one powered smartphone in association with Google. The device sports 5.5-inches HD(1280*720p) display that is protected with Asahi dragontrail glass with oleophobic coating to prevent smudges and fingerprints. Powered by MediaTek 1.3GHz 64bit Quad-Core processor with 2GB DDR3 Ram and 32GB of internal storage with an SD card slot that can hold up to 32GB. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 with two years promised updates from Google. On the camera side, There is an 8-megapixel primary BSI camera with LED flash that has the capability to record videos in 1080p, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel 5P Largan Lens selfie shooter.  The device boots a 2,650mAh battery which is removable. 3G Dual SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 are obviously there. Priced at Rs.11,350 and will be available 32,000 stores around India, and for online users, the device will be available exclusively via Flipkart initially.

Lava Iris X5 4G Surfaces Online; Could Be Next Android One Smartphone?

It is not a secret that google is readying next Android One smartphone which will be manufactured by Lava. The smartphone is yet to hit the Indian markets and now the smartphone has surfaced via GeekBench benchmarking application and revealed most of the specifications of the device. According to the listing the device sports 4.6 HD(1280*720p) display and is powered by MediaTek MT6735 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor with 2GB of Ram and 16GB internal storage and an SD card slot for memory expansion. On the camera side, there is 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash and a 7-megapixel fixed focus selfie camera and it runs on Android 5.1 lollipop out of the box. As per the listing the device looks like a solid upgrade over the last year's Android One. The smartphone is expected to go official sometime later this month if things get materialized accordingly.
