Oppo R7 Lite and R7 Plus Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615Soc Launched in India

Oppo has launched the must awaited R7 and R7 Plus smartphones. Probably the most and highly anticipated pair of devices this year are now official in India.  The R7 smartphone sports 5-inches HD AMOLED display behind 2.5D glass and also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to prevent scratches. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64bit Soc clocked at 1.3GHz Octa-Core processor supported by 2GB of Ram and 16GB internal storage, the SD card slot can either work as place for memory card or secondary sim, which mean you will have to use the second sim slot for SD card if storage is what you want or if you can compromise on that you can use the device with Dual SIM. 

   

R7 features 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera with a f/2.2 lens, LED flash, phase detection, the images that are taken using the camera are sensor 32% brighter and with 78% less noise; other features include flash shot, anti-shake technology, noise cancellation. The Oppo R7 runs on ColorOS 2.1, which is based on Android 5.1 and a 2,320mAh battery powered the device. The Oppo R7 features metal unibody construction with chamfered sides and sculpted profiles.

While the high-end R7 Plus sports 6-inches, R7 plus is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 clocked at 1.5GHz Octa-Core 64bit processor coupled with 3GB of Ram and 16GB internal memory. Rest of the specifications remain the same, except for the screen size and battery, Oppo R7 plus is powered by 4,100mAh battery unit which is coupled with Oppo’s VOOC fast charging technology and fingerprint technology for better security. The Oppo R7 is priced at Rs. 17,990 and will go on sale from September 10th, the Oppo R7 Plus is priced at Rs. 29,990 and will go on sale from September 25th.

Oppo R5s with 5.2-inches 1080p Display Announced

Remember the Oppo R5 smartphone? If yes the company has announced an upgraded version for the smartphone with the name R5s. The device sees a bump in specifications department, starting with the display the device sports 5.2-inches FHD(1980*1080p) SUPER AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615Soc clocked at 1.5GHz Octa-Core processor with Adreno 405 GPU. 3GB Ram and 32GB internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion. Runs on Android 4.4KitKat with Color OS 2.0 on top. There is a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel fixed focus selfie camera. 

Connectivity features include 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC and a 2,000mAh battery powers the device. Thr pricing isn't announced as of now, but the Oppostyle website lists the Oppo R5s for 199 Euros which may not be the official price.

Oppo has officially launched the Mirror 5 smartphone officially. The device sports 5-inches qHD display and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410Soc clocked at 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor coupled with 2GB of Ram and 16GB internal storage and a sd card slot to expand the memory furthermore. Oppo Mirror 5s with Snapdragon 410 Officially Announced

Unlike what we were expecting Oppo(Thread) has finally made the 5s smartphone official in Taiwan earlier today. The device was initially expected to be launched during the third-fourth week of July, but the Chinese manufacturer has put an end  to the rumors mill by making the smartphone official. The device packs quite impressive yet interesting specifications as well as the beautifully crafted reflective back panel. 

The device sports 5.0-inches HD display (1280*720 resolution) and we are yet to find out whether the display has any sort of protection. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Clocked at 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor with Adreno 306 GPU coupled with 2gigs of Ram and 16GB internal storage with an SD card slot to expand the memory furthermore. Oppo Neo 5 and 5S Officially Launched

Oppo has officially launched the Neo 5 2015 edition and 5s and extended version of Neo 5 smartphone. Don't get by the name Neo 5 that was launched in 2014, though the names are similar the specifications and design differs from last year's offering. The Neo 5(2015) sports 4.5-inches IPS display with 854 X 480-pixel resolution, with 218 ppi, powered by MediaTek MT6582 SoC Soc clocked at 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor along with dual-core Mali 400MP2 GPU coupled with 1GB of Ram and 8GB of internal storage with an SD card slot that should hold up to 32GB. On the Camera side, there is an 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash and f/2.2 lens. While the front houses 2-megapixel fixed focus selfie shooter with the f/2.8 lens. The device run on Android 4.4.2KitKat with Oppo's ColorOS v2.0.1 on top. 2,000mAh battery powers the smartphone.

While the Oppo Neo 5S sports the similar 4.5-inches 480p IPS grade display wit no sort of display protection. The S stands for the Snapdragon, powered by 410Soc clocked in at 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor with Adreno 306GPU that should be fine to handle all the graphical requirements. 1GB of Ram and 8GB of internal storage similar to Neo 5 and 8-megapixel rear, 2-megapixel front facing shooter are present. The only difference between these two smartphones is the lack of LTE capability in Neo 5 while the Neo 5s comes with local LTE support. The phones are built around a double-layer metallic structure, which results in a compact yet the sturdy body, but also helps with heat dissipation that should be fine for handling. The company has used a laminated reflective back cover which looks like glass and is reminiscent of the most expensive R1x, though without the faceted glass effect. Oppo Introduced The ColorOS 2.1.0i Beta Based on Android 5.0.2 For Find 7, Find 7a

Recently we have reported that Oppo will be rolling out the lollipop Update to their smartphones. Now the company has released a beta version of ColorOS 2.1.0i U.I, which is based on Android 5.0.2 for Find 7 and 7a smartphones. The update will be rolled out by the end of this week, they have also posted official preview on their personal forum for the developers to have a preview of the U.I along with small video demonstration. The video mainly focuses on three significant changes that were brought within the new operating system, i.e., new minimal design language, new flatter UI design.

Oppo Posted: Another good news is through the hard work of our engineers, you won't need to format your phone completely like the Chinese update, you'll still be able to use full wipe package to update. However, it's a pity that this version will not be available over OTA.
