Acer Introduces ChromeBox CX12 At Computex

Acer has unveiled the ChromeBox CX 12 at the on-going event Computex. The CX 12 is the next generation of the last year's CX11. The latest Desktop PC running chrome OS is powered by Intel Broadwell with either Core i3 or low-end Celeron processor. That is coupled with 8GB DDR3 Ram also come equipped with Intel HD integrated graphics, 1600MHz dual-channel with 16GB SSD. There are in total of 4 USB ports for keyboard/mouse or pen drive support, there is single HDMI port to connect the CX12 to external monitor or display. Connectivity features are WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and an SD Card reader.

The all new CX 12 mainly focuses for business purposes as it comes Citrix Ready, desktop virtualization and has TPM 1.2 security chip and a Kensington lock. The ChromeBox might go on sale starting this summer in internal markets at a price of less than $199.
