Gionee E8/S8 Showcased in New TEENA Video

Any Smartphone that is going to launch in China has to go for testing; TEENA is an agency that certifies smartphones, and it is equivalent to USA's FCC agency. A month before Gionee E8 has undergone TEENA certification and brought some interesting details and specifications on board. The key highlight of the smartphone is the 23-megapixel primary camera that allows to produce images equivalent to 100-megapixel photographs.  Naughty TEENA always posts the images of the smartphones that has visited for certification by Gionee E8 goes beyond that.

The showcased video shows the device look and dimensions. The smartphone sports 6-inches SUPER AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 resolution, Powered by MediaTek MT6795 chipset clocked at 2GHz Octa-Core processor coupled with 3GB of Ram. On board it has 32GB of internal storage may/may not have SD card slot. There is an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie camera and a 3,250mAh battery powers the device. iPhone 6s Launch Date Leaked

Last year before the launch of iPhone 6 Deutsche Telekom leaked the launch date ans date that the device will go sale(September 19th), and it turned out 100% right. Now it's time for iPhone 6s. An employee close to apple sources have reported the launch date as 8th, September and another employee from leading European mobile operator has leaked the shipping date of iPhone 6s. The vodafone employee has sent an email to MobileNews stating the iPhone 6s will be made available to purchase starting from September, 25th. While the pre-orders will be up from from September 18th. 

The unclear part is that the mail didn't mention anything regarding the sequel to iPhone 6 Plus phablet, Apple plans to extend the iPhone 6 Plus is unknown for now. As we reported earlier the new iPhone 6s will feature 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, This is the first upgrade in camera module since iPhone 4s that came with 8-megapixel camera. Sony will be provoding the camera sensor that will include white balance sub-pixel which will help to take better shots at low light conditions. 

Apple might be using Series 7000 aluminum air craft material to put an end to #Bendgate. This 4.7-inches upcoming iPhone will feature Force Touch feature for measuring how hard the screen is tapped. We have seen this feature in Apple Watch earlier. Putting all the leaks together, the iPhone 6s will be launched on 8th September, will be up for pre-order starting from 18th September and will go on sale from 25th September.

So it's better to use a screen protection once they are made available.  The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Soc clocked at 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor with Adreno 306 GPU, coupled with 2GB of Ram out of which 1.2GB is available on first boot. On the internals, the device packs 8GB of internal storage out of which around 3.58GB is available for users and apps cannot be moved to SD card but there is an option to store the data by default, OTG is not supported. 

The device is running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat with COOL U.I 6 on top; the U.I is similar to any other Chinese smartphone with no App drawer. There is an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and Noice cancellation and can record videos in 1080p clarity. While there is 5-megapuxel fixed focus front camera, that can record videos in 720p. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3G/2G, Dual SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1. On the first glance, the device looks similar to Redmi 2 smartphone while the difference lies in the specification. Sony To Update Xperia Z Series Smartphones with Android 5.1

Sony has just announced that it will be rolling out the Android 5.1 major update over the lollipop to Xperia Z series smartphones including the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1S, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1 Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3v, Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. The Xperia M2, M2 dual that were launched during august 2014 are running on android 4.4.4 KitKat at present, these smartphone will get the 5.1 update directly skipping the 5.0 update and T2 ultra, C3 smartphones will follow.

Motorola Moto X 3rd Gen Images Leaked

Moto-X that had its specifications leaked earlier has an image now. A Wooden back Moto smartphone has been leaked, do bear with us as the image is covered to protect the source of the leak. Before proceeding don't take these details for granted as they are initial leaks they tend to differ at the time of the official launch. Apparently Motorola is preparing Moto X-3rd gen in two variants one will be Verizon exclusive with 5.7-inches while the other one will be a Global variant with 5.2-inches QHD display. Earlier Leaks: Motorola Moto X 3rd Gen specifications are leaked Online for the first time. Xiaomi Going to Launch a New Smartphone on June 10th

Xiaomi has just released a new teaser about an upcoming water-proof smartphone launch event that is scheduled to take place on June 10th, 2015. Xiaomi fans have been expecting a water/dust proof smartphone for some time now, looks like Xiaomi is going to make that true with the new smartphone. The teaser/text states water but nothing beyond that. Xiaomi also has a big water purification business in China so this might have nothing to do with a smartphone, it might just teasing a new water purification device. We will know more on June 10th, 2015.

Recently the roadmap details of the xiaomi have been leaked online, and few days later Redmi Note 2 smartphone leaks along with images. Asus Rolled Out Lollipop Update to zenfone 4,5,6 Smartphones

Asus has finally rolled out the lollipop update to first generation zenfone series smartphones. Last week there was a misconception regarding the update when Asus has posted that they are delay by 3-4 months for the update, but that was just a rookie mistake. The company has pushed the OTA update for the smartphones, The Android 5.0 Lollipop for the ZenFone 4 (A400CG) comes with version 7.3.3, ZenFone 5 (A500CG / A501CG) with version 3.23.40.52, and ZenFone 6 (A600CG / A601CG) with version 3.23.40.52.

The update seems to be rolled out in phases and it might take quite a bit of time to reach the users, as a solution to that Asus has provided OTA zip files that can be flashed manually and the steps to update are clearly mentioned in their forum/website. The company warned users before updating to backup the SD card data as it no longer supports NTFS format SD card thus some of the pre-installed apps might not function as they are intended to do. Asus Launched ZenPad Series Tablets at Computex

Asus Has launched the ZenPad series tablets at Computex today. The Series of tablets include a 7.0-inch model, 8-inch ZenPad 8.0 Z380KL (4G) / Z380C (WiFi), ZenPad S 8.0 with optional Z Stylus, and the 10-inch ZenPad 10.1 with an optional keyboard.  These tablets were unveiled during the Computex show held today in Taiwan. Asus ZenWatch 2 launched in Two Different Sizes

Asus along side with Zenfone Selfie smartphone has also launched the ZenWatch s powered by Android wear, the Zenwatch 2 is the second iteration of Zenwatch launched last year. The all-new ZenWatch will be available in two different sizes one with Metal strip and the other with leather fitting and a larger/smaller variants. The larger one measures 49 x 41mm with a 22mm watch bands while the  smaller one at 45 x 37mm with 18mm bands.

Both the smart watches come with AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and the ZenWatch has IP57 certification which is now bumped to IP67 rating.
