Myntra to shutdown its official main website from may 1st 2015, As per the reports from Economic Times, Myntra will ne a mobile app retailer starting from next month, Purchases will only be available from App. The Main Reason for this decision being that, most of the traffic fro myntra comes from mobile app and 70% of sales are done via mobile app, myntra already said that it might shut down the website once the app sales touch 90%. There is a 360-degree advertising and marketing campaign being planned by Myntra to announce its app-only presence going forward, which will be unveiled in the coming weeks, sources said.Bansal had in the February 7 report said "we are (Myntra) 100% focused on mobile and making all our investments on the platform going forward" Recently both have stopped mobile website, now with Myntra closing desktop website Flipkart looking out to follow the same, if the statistics workout for Flipkart.
