Samsung Galaxy A8 with Exynos 5430 Processor Launched in India For Rs.32,500

Samsung India has launched the Galaxy A8 smartphone in India after it was announced globally last month. The device sports 5.7-inches Full HD(1980*1080p) SUPER AMOLED display and powered by Exynos 5430 clocked at (1.8GHz Quad Core + 1.3GHz Quad Core) Octa-Core processor coupled with 2GB of Ram and 32GB internal storage with an SD card slot that can hold up to 128GB. Runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. On the camera side, there is a 16-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. Samsung has decided to choose Exynos chipset Instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615Soc which is launched globally(Read Here). There is support for 4G LTE including G LTE bands for India  and comes with hybrid dual SIM support, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB port. For better security, there is Fingerprint sensor.  priced at Rs. 32,500. It will be available through all retail and online channels across India

Sony Xperia M5 and Xperia C5 Leaks Online; Might Go Official Later This Month

Unannounced Sony Xperia M5 and Xperia C5 smartphones leak online, the devices have been in work for quite sometime now. Though this is not the first time they have surfaced online but this time around they are been captured in their full form. The Xperia C5, near bezel-less display with just 0.8MM thick bezels on left and right, Sports 6-iinches FHD 1080p display. Powered by MediaTek  MT6752 Soc clocked at 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor with 2GB of Ram and 16GB internal storage with an SD card slot for memory expansion. Runs on Android 5.0 lollipop out of the box and a battery of 2,930mAh capacity. The price of the device is expected to be around $350.

Another smartphone that is leaked along with C5 is the Xperia M5 smartphone. The device sports 5-inches FHD(1080*1920p) display and powered by MediaTek Helio X10 Soc clocked at 2.0GHz Octa-Core processor with 3GB of Ram and 16GB expandable internal storage. The Xperia M5 is selfie centric smartphone that is why the 13-megapixel front camera and 21-megapixel primary camera with LED flash that can record videos in 4K resolution and which comes with Sony's IMX230 sensor, 5x digital zoom "with no perceptible loss in quality", fast auto focus (0.2 seconds). The smartphone sports 5-inches HD(1280*720p) display with Corning Gorilla Glass Three protection giving a pixel density of 294PPI. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Soc clocked at 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor with Adreno 306GPU coupled with 2GB Ram and 16GB of internal storage with an SD card to expand the memory. On the camera side, There is an 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.

Although the TEENA listing stated 4,000mAh battery, but there is an a strong word from the sources that it will feature a 5,000mAh battery that will provide long lasting battery life and runs on Android 5.1.1 making it the first Lenovo phone to run on Android 5.1. But till August 15th all these should be considered with a pinch of salt as the device is expected to be unveiled on the day.
